You may have seen this bag floating around blogs as of late. It’s the Mulberry Alexa bag, named after the British it girl of fashion, Alexa Chung. I love this bag, but I can’t justify the $1500 by any means. Nonetheless, I love Alexa’s style and have been following her outfits for quite some time. She use to model, but since that was not a positive influence, she turned to media presentation, and soon became a fashion icon in Britain. She still models, but with a better sense of self confidence, and it definitely shows. Mulberry is a British luxury designer, so the combination of these two just makes for classy, yet modern fashion.

I am in love with this designer, Alexander Wang. He opened for the New York fashion week, but I haven’t had the chance to see the pics yet. However, I’ve seen pieces of his collection that I want in my closet ASAP. This piece is from the Spring 09 collection and you know my affinity towards well fitted white dresses. This goddess jersey dress has to be in my closet!!!!!!

Recently, facebook has been doing doppelgangers. The word “doppelgänger” has come to refer (as in German) to any double or look alike of a person. I couldn’t think of anyone for a whole day, but then Gong Li’s image showed up on Netflix when i was browsing through movies. I don’t think I look SO much like her, but she is so beautiful that I would strive to! My mom carries a lot of the same features. Both have the porcelain face, soft and elegant, with doe eyes and fuller lips. Since I resemble my mom in certain pictures when I’m not grinning or tan, I think Gong Li is the celebrity that matches me the most.
I chose this one as my doppelganger, but the two images after that are really stunning from the Louis Vuitton fashion show in Paris.
